Announced winners of the UEPS award for 2024 – Network of the most creative ideas

Marking its 64th birthday, the Association for Market Communications of Serbia announced the winners of this year’s competition. A retrospective exhibition and a short film were held, summarizing key events spanning several decades.

The jury, which included 30 members from the ranks of agencies, advertisers and experts from the academic community, as well as colleagues from the region, had the opportunity to view a truly impressive number of works, which speaks in favor of the stability of the Serbian advertising scene, which, despite the not-so-easy circumstances, still has strength and energy to create quality communication and to discover new forms adapted to reality. As a special value, the efforts of agencies to self-initiatively implement CSR campaigns on important social topics, with which they animate the public for stronger support, stand out.

Winner of UEPS Grand Prix-a za 2024. campaign for a year The network of the most important influencers, agencies Leo Burnet Belgrade, made for A1 Serbia which received the most votes and the highest average rating of the jury. This project, which strongly affirms the role of educators, teachers, is perfectly integrated into the campaign, which reminds us of the importance of this profession in society with warm, unpretentious messages.

With the most UEPS points won agency of the year is Leo Burnett Belgrade, which wins this award for the third time, in UEPS-ov advertiser of the year she became A1 Serbia, also a multiple winner.

As a reminder, this prestigious award was previously received by Communis, New Moment New Idea Company, Ovation BBDO, McCann Beograd and Leo Burnett. In previous years, several times in a row, the Advertiser of the Year was A1 Serbia (formerly VIP Mobile), Jaffa doo, Telenor Banka, Grand prom doo and Mastercard.

The “Dragan Sakan” award, which has been traditionally awarded this year for years, went to the campaign “Sava Šumanović to injured trees” jointly applied by the agencies Leo Burnett Belgrade i Head Made Novi Sadwhich was made for the picture gallery “Sava Šumanović”. The award was traditionally presented by Žarko and Lazar Sakan, and they expressed their thanks on behalf of the awardees Anđelko TrpkovićCEO Publicis Group i Zoran SantovacCEO Head Made. This CSR campaign pointed to one of the key civilizational problems that threatens the survival of the planet through the uncontrolled destruction of trees and showed that the value of an idea can exceed the size of the budget, raising, from the point of view of a local city, a global environmental issue to the level of preserving national and world cultural heritage. The fresh and original idea follows the creative trail of the great creative Dragan Sakan, who emphasized that the idea is the strongest currency and reminded of his slogan for PKB “Nature is already in the trap, now the stunt is in the straw”.

In respect to all that is Vladimir Czech done for the Serbian marketing industry by the decision of the UEPS Board of Directors last year established the special award “Vladimir Čeh” which this year went to Water Rakovic, the owners of Naxi Radio and the presidents of RAB Serbia for their continuous ten-year commitment to the development and improvement of radio .

During the ceremony, this year’s winners of the Serbian Young Lions Teodora Dancevic i Lazar Rajković they presented their Cannes experiences and invited young colleagues to take part in Young Lions Serbia for 2025.

At the award ceremony itself this year, a nice prize game was arranged for those present, in which they can enter through the application Domzis created by a Friend of the event March TVanswered the question by scanning the QR code. With the support of friends of the ceremony Grand Kafa, Plasma, Jaffa Crimson i South tone five prizes were awarded – for the five fastest.

On the occasion of 64 birthdays, an exhibition and a short film about UEPS were prepared in Koji, summarizing the key moments – from the first exhibition in front of the House of Trade Unions in 1960 to today. The main initiator and donor was Viktor Nikolić, Chairman of the Board of Directors, whose company it is Beoexpo system was the technical director of the exhibition. He designed and prepared the exhibition and the film Mugdim Sehalić. The team from Communisaheaded by Bojan Stankovshe visually furnished the exhibition, and he technically realized the film Aleksandar Glavendekić.

The industry lives and works at full steam, in spite of everything – that could be the briefest conclusion of summarizing the results of this year’s competition, concluding with the award ceremony that took place in a great atmosphere in Dorćol Platz. In its 64-year-long tradition, the Association once again had the opportunity, honor and pleasure to summarize this year’s activities of our colleagues, verified at the regular annual competition, confirming the value of the festival itself, the only national industry festival in Serbiabut also of the community embodied in this association.
