Another 1,000 tickets on sale for Romanian fans at the Cyprus – Romania football match
- The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) obtained a new addition to the number of tickets allocated to Romanian supporters for the Romania-Cyprus match, scheduled for October 12, in the League of Nations.
- By noon on Monday, another 1,000 tickets went on sale.

These seats are allocated in the South Lawn of the AEK Arena in Larnaca, in contrast to the 1,528 tickets previously sold, which were allocated in the North Lawn. The ticket price remains the same, 50 lei (10 euros).
The interest of Romanian fans in the Nations League match between Romania and Cyprus, scheduled for October 12, in Larnaca, generated the rapid exhaustion of the first set of tickets, which led to successive additions to the number of seats available for Romanian fans.
The first batch of tickets, consisting of 828 tickets, went on sale on September 18 at 11:45 am. The tickets, with a price of 50 lei (10 euros), were distributed in the North Stand of the AEK Arena stadium in Larnaca. The Romanian supporters reacted quickly, and in just 75 minutes, all 828 tickets were sold.
Shortly after, also on September 18, the FRF announced that it is making efforts to supplement the number of tickets, following the dialogue with the Football Federation of Cyprus. On September 19, at 10:45, FRF managed to obtain 700 additional tickets, which were immediately put on sale. And these sold out quickly, and at 1:00 p.m., FRF announced that all 700 tickets had been sold.
Amid continued demand, the FRF continued negotiations with the Cypriot Federation and secured a further 1,000 tickets, which went on sale at 12.30pm on Monday. This time, the tickets are distributed in the South Lawn of the stadium.
Thus, the total number of tickets available for Romanian supporters reaches 2,528, in a stadium with a capacity of 8,058 seats.
Romania will meet Cyprus on October 12, at 21:45, at the AEK Arena in Larnaca, in a Nations League match.
