COURT process against the former leaders of the so-called The KLA, Hašim Tači, Jakup Krasnići, Redžep Seljimi and Kadri Veselji, who are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Kosovo, continues this week, during which four hearings will be held.
The number of witnesses in this process has already reached 103, and according to announcements from the Prosecutor’s Office, 43 more people should testify against Thaci and the others.
The trial of the former leaders of the so-called The KLA started in April 2023, and the indictment charges them with war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in illegal detentions, the so-called KLA in Kosovo and Albania.
Ekaterina Trendafilova, the President of the Specialized Chamber for Crimes Committed in Kosovo and Metohija based in The Hague, stated a few days ago that the Prosecutor’s Office could finish presenting evidence in the trial against Thaci and others by the beginning of April next year.
