The Partizan basketball players were defeated tonight in the eighth round of the Euroleague on the road by the Paris team in an uncertain ending with 74:71.

Frank Nilikina missed a three-pointer in the last seconds for the win.

The “Black and Whites” did not manage to end their losing streak in the capital of France and this is their fourth in a row, so after eight rounds they are 2-6.

Partizan started well and led 7:2. This can especially be said about Frank Nilikina, who scored eight of the guests’ first 10 points.

However, Paris makes a 10-0 run and takes a 12:7 lead. The lead he maintained until the end of the first half. On two occasions, it amounted to a nine-point difference, but Partizan responded to the series of the home team, which nevertheless managed to match both in offensive rebound (7:6 for Paris in the first half) and for three points (Partizan 5/10, Paris 4/11). So at halftime it was a minimum of 37:35 for the home team.

In the third quarter, Partizan, on the wings of two Joneses, completely turned the situation on the field. He went on a 15-4 run to take a 52:46 lead. But, as in the previous part of the game, a series of home runs followed, which reduced the score to 57:56 by the end of the quarter.

Terrible start to the fourth quarter for Željko Obradović’s team. For four and a half minutes, the black and whites did not score a basket. Fortunately, Partizan didn’t particularly take advantage of that, leading 60:57 until Karlik Jones stopped the streak.

Paris did not let go of the lead and even led 68:64 three minutes before the end. And then there was a 5-0 series by Partizan for a new turnaround – 69:68. And then there was a score seesaw, which ended unfavorably for Partizan. TJ Shorts hit both free throws with 22 seconds left to make it 72-71.

Karlik Jones then took responsibility, who almost lost the ball after breaking through. She somehow got to Frank Nilikina, who missed for the win with a second to go. Jantunen hit both free throws for 74:71. Lundberg tried desperately, but failed, and Partizan suffered its fourth consecutive defeat in the Euroleague.
