Speakers in the student and parent gathering organized by the Narcotics Control Directorate said that drug abuse endangers individual and social life. Awareness should be started from family and educational institutions to prevent drug abuse.
Assistant Director of Narcotics Control Directorate AKM Didarul Alam presided over the gathering. Deputy Commissioner of Khagrachari Sahiduzzaman, Superintendent of Police Md. Arefin Jewell, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Chhaber, Headmaster of Khagrachari Government High School Ace M Muslim Uddin, President of Khagrachari Press Club Tarun Kumar Bhattacharya spoke as the chief guests. Students and parents were present in the rally.
