La Redoute soon to be without a general manager

As a reminder, the general manager of La Redoute had announced his departure from his post at the beginning of July, after 12 years with the company and two years in this position. This departure comes two years after that of Nathalie Balla and Eric Courteillewho had bought the e-tailer for a symbolic euro from Kering and had taken charge of restructuring the iconic online fashion brand, founded in 1837.

The company has not yet found a replacement for Philippe Berlan. This last one will therefore be managed on an interim basis by the executive committee, from the date of his departure, which takes place at the end of July, under the supervision of Philippe Houzé, president of La Redoute.

Currently, La Redoute.fr ranks third in the ranking of e-commerce sites for home decoration purchases in France. The brand’s national turnover is represented at 90% by online sales, The rest comes from its 9 own stores and 50 corners within Galeries Lafayette. The e-retailer currently has 8.8 million active customers in the 20 countries where it is present.
