The gaming monitors that will be available in August offer e-athletes a refresh rate of 390 Hz with an IPS panel and up to a refresh rate of 540 Hz with a TN panel.
AOC, known for its gaming monitors, has introduced two new gaming monitors to its Agon Pro product family, the AG256FS and AG246FK. You can talk about the new products as 24 inches, even though AOC announces the size of the screens as 24.5 and 24.1 inches.
The AG256FS has a 390 hertz IPS panel with 1920×1080 pixel Full HD resolution and a gray-to-gray response time of one millisecond. The screen covers 99.1 percent of the sRGB color space and has a DisplayHDR 400 certificate.
The slightly faster AG246FK is equipped with a 540 Hz TN panel and also has a resolution of 1980 × 1080 pixels. The GtG response time is reported to be 0.5 ms. In terms of color spaces, the AG246FK covers 99.6% of sRGB and 94.7% of DCI-P3 and, like the AG256FS, it has the DisplayHDR 400 certificate.
In addition, both display innovations have Adaptive-Sync support for synchronizing the refresh rate with the screen refresh rate of games, and the MBR feature (Motion Blur Reduction), which, according to AOC, reduces the pixel response time to 0.3 ms by means of flashing the backlight. In terms of ergonomics, the screens have tilt, swivel, rotation and height adjustments. The built-in USB hub offers four USB 3.2 ports, one of which can be connected to a QuickSwitch controller to adjust display settings without reaching.
The availability of both screens starts in mid-August and their recommended prices are 449 euros for the AG256FS and 699 euros for the AG246FK.
