Apple usually takes advantage of the month of October to update several of its Mac models and this year it is quite clear that the vast majority are going to be renewed to include the M4 chip that until now has only been equipped in the 2024 iPad Pro. This is what Apple will launch in the coming weeks, whether there is an event or not:

  • Chips M4 Pro and M4 Max: Although the M4 chip was presented at the beginning of the year, Apple has not yet revealed its most powerful variants that should be presented next week to be included in the new Mac models.
  • New Mac mini: We expect a complete redesign of the Mac mini, rumors indicate that Apple is going to completely change the design of the Mac mini which will be significantly smaller than the current one, which still has the same design as the Mac mini with Intel chips. It is also expected to include versions with the M4 chip and the M4 Pro chip.
  • iMac M4: The iMac will also be renewed to include the M4 chip, but it will not have a design renewal and the one released a few years ago when the M1 chip was presented will continue to be maintained.   • MacBook Pro M4: Something similar will happen with the MacBook Pro, an internal update to include the new generation of M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max chips that will replace those launched a year ago.
