Apple continues to support (RED) and World AIDS Day, but we haven’t seen red devices in a while

The company will donate $5 for every purchase through Apple Pay

Product(RED) campaign devices

The campaign (RED) Apple is back for the World AIDS Day. The firm of the bitten apple will make donations of 5 dollars to the Global Fund for the Fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria for every purchase through Apple Pay on its website, in the App Store and in the Apple Store.

This initiative will take place from November 29th to December 8th. So if you were thinking of buying a new iPhone before Christmas, you should know that you will contribute to (RED) donations.

Be that as it may, Apple’s (RED) campaign is no longer associated with red products. Apple has not offered Product(RED) devices for years. The only one that continues to survive is the 3rd generation iPhone SE.

Apple is one of the most supportive companies on the planet

If Apple has always been characterized by something, it is precisely by maintaining an impeccable image. Apple is a company concerned about the environment, committed to the privacy of its users and is one of the most supportive companies on the planet.

Apple always contributes with donations in the fight against the most harmful diseases and the deadliest catastrophes. The firm with the bitten apple logo announced a donation after DANA in Valencia to help recover the land after the floods that devastated the city. Now Apple has announced that it will contribute $5 donations for every purchase to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in order to “fund health programs that save lives.”

Apple has been supporting the (RED) initiative by contributing donations to the Global Fund for 18 years. This year the company has set a limit of 3 million dollars for your donations. To date, Apple has already donated more than 250 million dollars.

Apple has stopped marketing Product(RED) devices

Despite continuing with its donation campaigns with (RED), from Apple They have stopped selling red devices. As we previously indicated, the only red device available is the 3rd generation iPhone SE.

The Cupertino firm did not launch any red iPhone 15 and did not do the same with the iPhone 16 line. Does this mean that the company is progressively withdrawing the Product(RED) brand? We cannot confirm it, since Apple could release some red products again soon, but everything seems to indicate that Apple could be disassociated from this initiative to launch future devices with these color tones.

What is clear is that the number of red Apple devices has been decreasing over the years. We will see what ends up happening with the Product(RED) campaign and if the firm releases new red products again in the near future. The truly important thing is that Apple will continue to contribute with solidarity donations to (RED).
