Apple has released a test version of firmware for AirPods Pro 2 headphones

Apple has released beta firmware for AirPods Pro 2 headphones, both for the model with a USB-C and Lightning port. They can be downloaded as part of the Apple Developer Program.

The test version of the software was marked as 7B5013d. Unfortunately, it is not known what changes were introduced. It probably improves the stability of headphones and switching between devices.

A hearing aid function is to be added soon, so perhaps this version includes some changes related to these new features.

The beta installation process is much more complicated than for other Apple devices. The entire operation may take up to 24 hours.
