Earlier in the week, the California company Apple introduced four new ones iPhone 16. The phones offer great specifications, beautiful displays or great cameras. And it is precisely with them that one essential novelty is connected. This is the Camera Control button, thanks to which the camera can be controlled. Even now, mainly Chinese manufacturers are copying the function. Also newly added Realme.

Camera Control od Realme

We can briefly summarize how the Camera Control button works in the new iPhones and what it can actually do. It is essentially a sensor that is sensitive to pressure. By pressing it, you will be able to start the camera, focus and then take a picture. Thus, it supports various gestures, for example for zoom. It is a really handy gadget that every passionate photographer will appreciate.

Smartness is also known in Realme, where they have apparently developed similar, if not the same, technology. On a social network Weibo published Chase Xu, vice president of Realme, a video showing the brand’s phone with the same button. In the video, he primarily demonstrates the zoom options, but they do not work as smoothly as with the iPhone 16. The button is also not elegantly embedded in the frame and protrudes slightly from the body.

What model is it?

With the publication of the video, speculation immediately began about which phone from Realme will be equipped with this new technology. Logically, the upcoming flagship phone is offered Realme GT7 Pro. But the company denied this. So it is not clear which model will get the Camera Control function, let alone when Realme will introduce such a smartphone.

This is not the first copy

Although the iPhone 16 model line was introduced only a few days ago, the Camera Control button has already been copied by several manufacturers. For example, the boss himself Nubia revealed that their upcoming Nubia Z70 Ultra model will offer a similar button. And it’s the same way Oppowhich the dedicated camera trigger is about to apply to the model Find X8.

So it looks like Apple hit the nail on the head with the new Camera Control button, and it’s another feature that manufacturers will copy in a big way.
