Apple Intelligence release date announced, it’s coming and a lot is changing

With shortcomings, Apple released iOS 18 just last month and we refer to the fact that the new software did not bring with them the set of new features based on the technology Apple Intelligence. Now, we are waiting for iOS 18.1, where the first batch of Apple Intelligence hardware will finally make its debut — though it’s a far cry from everything Apple revealed at its developer conference in June. Many noteworthy features will be promoted in 2025.

However, there will be a lot of public excitement when the first Apple Intelligence figures arrive, and according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this will happen on October 28, when iOS 18.1 is due to be released (probably alongside iPadOS 18.1).

In Gurman’s personal opinion, Apple is taking a little extra time to release the next update to ensure that major bugs are ironed out and that it can support all the new traffic on its cloud servers. Apple knows that everyone with a compatible device will immediately start testing the new AI features and the spotlight will be on its delivery, so hopefully all will go well.

On November 1st, Apple is rumored to launch a low-end 14″ MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, a 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, a refurbished Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips, a refurbished iMac with an M4 chip and a refurbished iPad mini. The announcement for all these devices will come a few days earlier, at the end of October.

Later and specifically in the first half of 2025, Apple will release 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air models with an M4 chip, the new iPhone SE, refreshed 11″ and 13″ iPad Air models with new Magic Keyboards and upgraded AirTag.
