Apple is constantly working to improve its services and solutions.
According to Bloomberg editors, the American giant is working on a more efficient Siri to better compete with solutions such as ChatGPT, with plans to use “advanced models of large languages”. The staff called it LLM Siri.
The use of large language models will also allow Siri to perform much more complex tasks, for which Apple must rely on OpenAI’s ChatGPT in iOS 18.2.
Apple is testing the new Siri in a dedicated app on iPhones, iPads and Macs, but it will eventually replace the current version of Siri. The Siri update may be announced as early as 2025, probably as part of the June global developer conference, during which Apple will present new operating systems.
