A 9to5mac according to his information (which is based on an X-account that has provided reliable information several times before), Apple will start the year 2025 with a new tablet. The Apple company put the iPad product line to rest this year, and its entry-level model, sold simply as iPad, has not been updated since 2022. It looks like it’s time for a new generation, and version 11 will hit store shelves in the first months of 2025 without any frills.
According to the tweet on which the report is based, the release of the iPad 11 will be expected around the arrival of iPadOS 18.3. Since Apple usually publishes the x.3 packages at the end of January, this gives us a well-defined time interval for the appearance of the product.
By the way, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted the arrival of the iPad 11 in the spring of 2025, so our best guess is somewhere between the end of January and the beginning of March.
