Apple has revealed which parts have become easier to repair in the new iPhone 16.
It was previously known about the battery, for which an improved glue is used for fastening – it is easier to get rid of. Now the company has added four more points:
• Face ID’s TrueDepth camera can now be set up directly on the device, without needing to be connected to a Mac
• The TrueDepth camera can be swapped between any iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models
• Apple can now repair the LiDAR scanner in the iPhone 16 Pro when servicing the rear camera module
• The iPhone 16 Pro has a number of internal changes that provide “easier access” to unspecified components
The release of all iPhone 16 will take place on Friday, September 20. After that, we are waiting for the disassembly from iFixit. (MacRumors)
