The new App Store Connect 2.0 has been updated with a modern and intuitive UI, designed to improve the user experience of developers. The most interesting news, however, concerns the possibility of creating promotional assets for marketing: Developers can generate visuals for app launches, version updates, and special placements such as featured sections of the Today tab, including “App of the Day” and “Game of the Day.”
These assets are designed to be easily shared on social media, allowing developers to more immediately and professionally promote their products and engage the public during special events or updates.
With version 2.0, App Store Connect will send notifications to developers whenever their app comes up highlighted in special sections of the App Store. Receiving these notifications allows developers to quickly capitalize on the visibility opportunities offered by the App Store, facilitating targeted marketing strategies.
Additionally, in addition to app management, App Store Connect continues to support TestFlight for creation and management of beta versions to be tested with selected users. The platform also offers advanced tools to monitor sales and download trends, allowing developers to respond to ratings and reviews of customers, improving the relationship with their audience.
