Apple has just released the first Public betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1thus offering non-developer users the opportunity to test the new features before the official launch scheduled for October.
Users who have opted into Apple’s beta testing program can download updates by going to the Settings app, selecting the Software Update section, and choosing the Public Beta option. These updates are an early preview of the new capabilities of Apple Intelligencebut only in the USA.
The betas include some of Apple’s earliest AI implementations, such as Writing Toolsthe changes to Siri, the smart summaries and the automatic responses. It is important to note that these features are only available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 and Mac or iPad devices with M-series chips.
Furthermore, for owners of iPhone 15 Pro e Pro Maxcomes the ability to take space photos, a feature that takes advantage of Apple’s advanced 3D photography capabilities.
