Apple and Corsair put their wise heads together and release new versions of mechanical keyboard K65 and gamingmusen M75 in bright Apple theme. Corsair launched the K65 Wireless Plus earlier this year and the original is also compatible with Mac computers. Both the mouse and the keyboard are wireless and the keyboard can be used for 266 hours without charging.
The new design includes white and blue color variants. The keyboard also has CMD and OPT keys, which are standard on Mac keyboards.
The keyboard and mouse are only sold via Apple’s webshop for 179 and 129 USD, respectively, which corresponds to around 2,400 and 1,700 kroner with VAT. A Swedish page for the products does not exist at the moment. According to Prisjakt, the regular version of the keyboard costs around SEK 1,990 and the mouse costs SEK 1,500.
You can connect the mouse and keyboard to a Mac computer via bluetooth, cable or the included dongle. However, most new Macs, including the Mac Mini, do not support USB Type A, so the dongle comes with an adapter.
Apple is trying to attract more gamers to the Mac. Next year, Cyberpunk 2077 and Control will come to Mac. The collaboration with Corsair is another step in that direction, as the Mac computers’ existing mice and keyboards are rarely praised by gamers. How successful the venture will be remains to be seen.
