Apple TV+ connects to Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video is a service that allows you not only to watch productions available on your own platform. Not so long ago, cooperation with SkyShowtime was established. Now we learn that a similar move has been made regarding Apple TV+.

Amazon Prime Video allows you to watch productions from other streaming services and now in your own application Apple TV+ also joins them. This means that content from the platform with the bitten apple logo will be available for viewing outside of it. On what terms?

As they say… nothing is free and the same is true in this case. Content from Apple TV+ will not be available on Amazon Prime Video free of charge and a subscription to the second platform is not enough to watch it. You need to make an additional purchase.

Apple TV+ in Amazon Prime Video will function in Amazon Prime Video on the same principle as SkyShowtime and this means that you need to purchase an additional subscription. The price in the United States is $9.99 per month, which is the same as when purchasing directly from Apple.

The offer of add-ons in Amazon Prime Video is constantly growing. Apple TV+ is expected to be available this way in the United States later this month. It is worth adding that Jeff Bezos’ platform already gives access to over 100 packages from various partners. These include: Max, Paramount+, Crunchyroll czy MGM+.

Of course, this immodest offer only applies to the United States. In Europe or Poland it is not so “rich” anymore, which is worth keeping in mind. It is also unknown whether this will change significantly in the near future. These types of cooperation are often established locally and therefore do not cover all markets.

It is worth adding that viewers on Amazon Prime Video are growing and in April this year the magical barrier of 200 million people was crossed on a monthly basis.
