On October 2nd, the first exclusive German series from the makers of “Pastewka” and “How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)” will be launched on Apple TV+.

The first German series from Apple TV+ is called “Where’s Wanda?” and tells the tragic story of an average family with a good dose of humor. Carlotta Klatt (Heike Makatsch) and Dedo Klatt (Axel Stein) have tried pretty much everything to find their missing daughter. They gave press conferences, covered their hometown of Sundersheim with pictures and even appeared on television. But 17-year-old Wanda (Lea Drinda) remains swallowed by the ground.

The family is also increasingly frustrated by the police’s actions with the tough inspector Michelle Rauch (Nikeata Thompson). On the 70th day of Wanda’s disappearance, the Klatts have finally had enough. They take matters into their own hands and do so through drastic means: Disguised as employees of an electronics company, the couple spies on the neighbors together with their tech-savvy son Ole (Leo Simon) – and in the process penetrates a little too deeply into their lives or other Sundersheimers.
