In October, Apple TV+ will be showing some high-profile new series, including “Disclaimer” with Cate Blanchett – fresh from the Venice Film Festival.
In October, Apple TV+ will be showing the streaming platform’s first German original series, “Where’s Wanda?” The main roles are played by Axel Stein and Heike Makatsch as parents who are looking for their missing daughter Wanda (Lea Drinda). Using technical tools, the two begin to spy on half of the suburb and uncover their neighbors’ secrets. The first two of a total of eight episodes will be released on October 2nd. After that, a new episode will be released every Wednesday.
“Disclaimer” with Cate Blanchett starts in October on Apple TV+
On October 11, the first two episodes of “Disclaimer”, the new series by the award-winning director, will be released Alfonso Cuaron (“Gravity”). In the film adaptation, Cate Blanchett plays a successful journalist named Catherine, who is in danger of losing her entire existence when a strange novel appears, the plot of which bears a strong resemblance to Catherine’s previous experiences. A stranger seems to want revenge on the journalist.
The seven-part thriller series recently celebrated its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Apple TV+ will release a new episode every Friday.
Also on October 11, Apple TV+ will release the new documentary “The Last Women of the Sea” about the South Korean Haenyeo divers. In addition, Apple announces the start of the second season of the comedy series “Shrinking” on October 16 and the psychological thriller miniseries “Before” for October 25.
