Apple recently tried to switch to the MicroLED process on the Apple Watch, but this project was shelved. Now it seems like the company has started trying again.
According to a source at But that’s not all.
Apple will also reportedly use MicroLED panels for its AR glasses, which will go into mass production in 2026. If that happens, 2026 looks like a very MicroLED-filled year indeed for Apple.
If this is true, it’s unclear what LG will choose to do, since Apple previously canceled a contract on this issue.
