Applications for volunteering at the Belgrade Open 2024 tournament are open

All those who love tennis, the excitement of big sporting events and want to be part of the organization of one of the biggest sports events in the country and region, will be able to do so at the upcoming tennis tournament Belgrade Open 2024, and the organizers have already opened applications for volunteers.

From November 2 to 9, the Belgrade Arena will be at the center of the tennis world, and an essential part of the organization of the big tennis tournament, as before, will be volunteers.

“The organization of a sports event requires the teamwork of a large number of people, and one of the most important members of the team are certainly volunteers, whose support exists in almost all sectors of the organization. In the previous 3 years, more than 900 volunteers passed through our tournaments, who got the opportunity to learn how a sports event works behind the scenes and to turn their volunteer experience into permanent contacts and professional opportunities,” said Đorđe Đoković, director of the Belgrade Open 2024 tournament. .

“We really try to ensure that all volunteers gain valuable experience and develop skills through various tasks and responsibilities, which will certainly be very useful in their further professional development. We are especially proud of the fact that many of our volunteers became team members over time and during the tournament got the opportunity to manage certain sectors and be mentors to new generations of volunteers”, added Đoković and invited all those interested to apply for volunteering.

Within this tournament, volunteers will have the opportunity to work in different sectors such as logistics, player service, media, protocol, ticketing and much more, and the entire volunteering process will be monitored by experienced coordinators who will provide full support every day in performing tasks and who will make sure that volunteers leave this event with new knowledge and invaluable experience.
