From now on, content from the ARD media library will be better searched and displayed by Google searches. For example, if users search for “new series”, series from the ARD media library are now also suggested. According to the public broadcaster, you can also filter specifically for the ARD media library in the Google selection menu.

ARD provides Google with information via metadata feeds that is necessary for automated display in search results. The ARD media library and its content should be easier to find and more convenient to select. ARD icons in the search results make it clear that these are videos in the ARD media library.
