Bandar Thana police arrested two people with weapons while preparing for a robbery in the Bandar Thana area of Chittagong city.
They were arrested on the opposite side of Munsur Market under Bandar Thana at around 8:30 am on Friday (October 18).
Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Mohammad Sultan Ahsan Uddin confirmed the incident.
The arrested persons are Shipon Mia (28) and Md Shakeel (19). At that time indigenous weapons were recovered from them.
OC Kazi Mohammad Sultan Ahsan Uddin said two people were arrested while preparing for the robbery from the opposite side of Munsur Market. Legal action is being taken against them.
