Police recovered the hanging body of a day laborer named Kamal Badsha (21) from a rented house in Fatikchari, Chittagong.
The incident took place at a rented house in Binajuri area near Maijbhandar in Nanupur Union of the upazila at around 12 am on Tuesday (September 24).
The house of the deceased youth is in Mymensingh district. He lived in a rented house in Phatikchari and worked as a daily labourer. He got married 5 months ago.
The relatives of the deceased said that on the morning of the incident, his wife’s body was found hanging in the rented house. After informing the police, the police recovered the body and took it to the police station The deceased’s wife is not with him for the last 15 days He tried hard to bring his wife from her father’s house but could not. He may have committed suicide in this trouble.
In this regard, Abu Zafar, OC (Investigation) of Fatikchari police station, said that the police recovered the body after receiving information. The body has been sent to the morgue for post-mortem. Details will be known later.
However, Kamal Badsha’s relatives are claiming that he committed suicide by hanging himself because he was jealous of his wife.
