Arsenal Suffer Another Injury Blow

Arsenal have been dealt another injury blow as Ethan Nwaneri is the latest player to suffer a knock.

The Gunners are already without Bukayo Saka for the foreseeable future, and now his replacement Nwaneri has picked up an issue.

Nwaneri took Saka’s place in the last two games and he scored the opening goal in the 1-1 draw with Brighton.

But he was substituted at half-time in a strange switch, with Mikel Arteta revealing Nwaneri was taken off due to muscular problem.

He explained to BBC Match of the Day: “Really bad news because I think we’ve lost him.

“We had to take him off at half-time with some muscular issues.”

Should he be sidelined, the 17-year-old will join Saka and Kai Havertz who has missed the last two games through illness.

Also, Gabriel Martinelli has been carrying a knock too, meaning Arsenal’s forwards are being obliterated by issues.
