Artist Kim Ki-nam donates 60 works to Busan Veterans Hospital

A retrospective exhibition (13th to 19th) of veteran painter Kim Ki-nam is being held at Busan Veterans Hospital (Director Lee Jeong-ju). After participating in the Vietnam War, artist Kim was recognized as a person of national merit (military police) and has received medical services at the Busan Veterans Hospital for 20 years.

Artist Kim is donating approximately 60 of his lifetime masterpieces to the hospital through this retrospective. Accordingly, on the 13th, the hospital held a donation ceremony in the lobby of the affiliated Busan Nursing Hospital with hospital director Lee Jeong-ju and Busan Art Association Chairman Choi Jang-rak in attendance. Here, artist Kim said, “These works were selected based on the relationship with the Veterans Hospital,” and added, “I hope that these works will provide comfort to patients and medical staff, and provide vitality to the tiring and difficult life at the hospital.”
