Arto Nyberg is clearly a man of action. It didn’t take long for him to think about what he would do next.

Longtime journalist and TV personality Arto Nyberg will be seen on live stages next year.
In January, a new entertainment concept with Arto Nyberg starts, where Nyberg interviews the artist of the evening. After an intimate conversation and a break, the concert of the evening’s artist will be heard either alone, as a duo or with a band. Some may also invite guests to the stage. There are going to be very unique evenings in the impressive setting of the Aleksanteri Theater in Helsinki.
In the company of Arto Nyberg, prominent Finnish singer-songwriters such as Samuli Putro, Michael Monroe, Sir Elwood Duo, Sami Yaffa and Tuure Kilpeläinen will be seen during the spring. Mariska, Tuomari Nurmio and Marjo Leinonen will also be joining the program next year.
In addition to the Aleksanteri Theater, the concept is to be taken to other locations as well.

“Songwriters seem like special people when they are able to come up with exhilarating, touching and ‘right’ expressions for different melodies and rhythms. The purpose of these evenings is to go through the mysteries of how songs are created, and to hear great songs. Are the songs born in one sitting and if not, how? To whom the creators present their first demos, which songs they are proud of and which they don’t remember anything about,” Arto Nyberg opens.
Arto Nyberg’s company evenings are organized by Mikko Hultman of Anything Go-Go’s Oy. The concept was refined based on audience feedback, when many concertgoers had hoped to hear the stories behind the songs of their favorite artists as well. Arto Nyberg was a clear choice for Hultman to interview and host the evenings.
“It’s an incredible honor to have Arto involved in this project – a legend respected by everyone as an interviewer and journalist! In addition, he is known as a great musadiggar. Arto and I already agreed on this last spring. Aleksanterin Teatteri is a great event venue. It’s a good place to start the events, which are planned to be taken around Finland in the future”, commented Mikko Hultman.
