American rapper ASAP Rocky celebrated his 36th birthday on Thursday, October 4. He also showed up with his partner Rihanna in New York and this time lived up to his reputation as probably the best dressed musician in the world.
ASAP Rocky is known not only for his music but also for his love of fashion, this year he presented his debut collection, which was shown to the world at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, but he has also collaborated with sportswear manufacturer Puma, where in conjunction with F1 they created several daring but still practical pieces. Among his favorite brands is the Italian Bottega Venetta, led by designer Mathew blzy.
Bottega and ASAP have quite a long history together. A few years ago, when the brand was still under Daniel Lee, the rapper went to the famous Met Gala in an extravagant coat from this luxury brand. Since then, he has been popular in their pieces. Although not an official ambassador, he is often associated with Bottega, and it clearly benefits both parties.
He was even part of their campaign last year, and then they teamed up to create a series of photos for Father’s Day celebrations, captured by the famous American artist Carrie Mae Weems, where he also appeared with his two children. So it’s no wonder that even on his birthday night he wore clothes from this brand, and not just any. He was wearing pieces that were presented just a few weeks ago during Milan fashion week. Specifically, he wore look number six and complemented it with a bright yellow leather shopping bag from look number 14.
Rihanna then dressed in a dress by American designer LaQuan Smith, which beautifully complemented her partner’s outfit with its elegance and simplicity.
