Aspendos Ancient Theatre will host art lovers between September 13-26

The festival will be held at the Aspendos Ancient Theatre in the Serik district, and the opening will be performed by soprano Joana Zhelezcheva and tenor Walter Fraccaro. ‘Aida’ will perform the opera. The three-act work will be staged by Ankara and Antalya DOB artists. The director of the work will be Vincenzo Grisostomi Travaglini, the orchestra conductor will be Lorenzo Castriota and the choir conductor will be Mahir Seyrek. In the work, Joana Zhelezcheva will play ‘Aida’ and Walter Fraccaro will play ‘Radames’.

With the performance of sopranos Çiğdem Soyarslan and Dilan Ayata, mezzo-soprano Ezgi Karakaya, baritone Faik Mansuroğlu and tenor Mert Süngü under the direction of orchestra conductor Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg, ‘Opera Gala Night’ on September 16 at 21:00 will be organized.

In the work staged by director Yiğit Günsoy, famous tenor Paolo Lardizzone plays ‘Cavaradossi’, Nurdan Küçükekmekçi ‘Floria TOsca. The Antalya and Izmir DOB orchestras, conducted by conductor Lorenzo Castriota, and the Antalya DOB choir, conducted by choir conductor Mahir Seyrek, will accompany the soloists in the main roles. The set and costume of the work will belong to Gülden Sayıl, the choreography will belong to Özge Ay and the lighting design will belong to Mustafa Eski.
