The road surface was replaced on the section of the highway from Gatchina to Kurovitsy in the Leningrad Region. About 20 km of pavement was laid there, the press service of the regional administration reported.
Major road repairs were carried out as part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”.
Currently, the final stage of updating the highway is underway on the site – road workers are strengthening the sides of the highway, updating bus stops, and preparing to install new markings and signs.
It was previously reported that St. Petersburg will receive two roads as a gift from the Leningrad region. We are talking about the entrance to the village of Yukki in the Vyborg district and the entrance to the village of Novaya Derevnya in the Krasnogvardeysky district. The length of the first road is almost 500 meters, the second – 1.6 km. As the Kommersant newspaper noted, these objects will be withdrawn from the ownership of the State Institution “Administration of Highways of the Leningrad Region”. Also, the regional authorities must prepare a draft donation agreement for two plots.
