ASUS announces ExpertBook BM1 business laptop

ASUS announced the ExpertBook BM1, a durable, reliable and versatile laptop designed to meet the dynamic demands of the business environment.

ASUS ExpertBook BM1 is equipped with AI features, including AI-based noise cancellation technology and Copilot in Windows, as well as Screen Watermark to protect the privacy of displayed data and Webcam Watermark, which displays contact details such as would be the video conference participant’s name, title, company, and contact information along with a QR code. This feature facilitates quick acquaintance between participants, impressing and facilitating effective communication. In addition, the Screen Watermark function protects data when it is shared, providing essential protection for confidential information, especially when sharing preview data with business partners. Even if someone takes a screenshot, the visible patterns clearly indicate that the images do not belong to them, thus discouraging misuse.

Copilot in Windows, with commercial-grade data protection, improves productivity with built-in AI support. ExpertBook BM1 also optimizes remote work with noise cancellation technology using AI for clear calls, ensuring uninterrupted communications.

New design and effortless maintenance

ASUS ExpertBook BM1 stands out with a sleek, architecture-inspired design with an all-new chassis. With a 180° hinge, the laptop has a pale gray color and a Milanese mesh texture finish. It also incorporates over 25% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials. ExpertBook BM1 is equipped with an improved thermal system that ensures constant optimal cooling, regardless of whether the lid is open or closed, guaranteeing peak performance even during prolonged use.

The ASUS ExpertBook BM1 is designed to be easily serviceable, with a battery that can be disassembled and reassembled using just four base cover screws. It is available in multiple battery configurations, providing flexibility for businesses so they can customize the ExpertBook BM1 laptop according to their needs. Also, the quick-disassemble, screw-free design allows for effortless battery replacement. The memory and SSD can also be easily replaced or upgraded when an upgrade is needed.

Designed with NIST SP 800-155 BIOS and Windows 11 Secured-core PC technologies, the laptop provides enhanced security to protect critical data, from software and firmware to hardware. The laptop has a physical webcam screen for instant privacy, and a fingerprint sensor (optional) for secure biometric authentication, preventing unauthorized access. ASUS ExpertBook BM1 optionally benefits from McAfee Smart AI threat detection, which identifies and mitigates known and unknown cyber risks. It also includes TPM 2.0 technology for securely storing authentication information, protecting important data and transactions.
