The basic configuration includes a Snapdragon X Plus processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Using the X Elite package increases the capacity to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. Both products provided batteries with a huge capacity of 70 watt hours. 100 watt-hours is the maximum allowed on most airplanes, so it’s the level you’ll find in large, sturdy gaming laptops. A ThinkPad of similar weight was also large compared to its size at 48Wh. (In fact, some versions of the A14 use a 48Wh battery, but the one Asus revealed in the US-spec laptop is a 70Wh battery).

But even if we cut this estimate in half, it could still provide a truly enormous amount of unlimited computing considering its size and weight.
You can also put your mind at ease in terms of price. The basic configuration (16GB/1TB) of Zenbook A14 will be released in the United States at the end of March, and the starting price is $900. The higher-end model, with more RAM, storage, and a faster X Elite processor, will be released on January 13th and will start at $1,100.

It’s not cheap, but it’s not prohibitively expensive either. The latest Surface laptop Snapdragon X Plus version is available in 16GB/512GB configurations. It’s $1,200the MacBook Air that Asus recommends as a comparison for the A14 costs $1,300 with similar hardware (weighing 1.34 kg and 1.24 kg, respectively). This means that Asus is not behind in the value competition.
