According to the company, the Zenbook S 16 OLED is an ultra-light AI notebook that utilizes CNC machining, measuring 1.1 cm thick and weighing 1.5 kg. The company explained that it features a light and sturdy design thanks to the application of ‘Ceraluminum,’ a high-tech ceramic that processes aluminum into an advanced ceramic with excellent strength.
The new product is equipped with a 16:10 16-inch wide-screen 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display, with an ultra-wide color reproducibility of 100% DCI-P3 and VESA Display HDR True Black 500, Dolby Vision, and Pantone certification. It is also explained that the convenience of use has been increased by supporting a touch screen.
The Zenbook S 16 OLED is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with up to 12 cores and 24 threads. It is combined with an NPU with a performance of up to 50 TOPs (50 trillion operations per second), supporting a processing speed of up to 81 TOPs. The company emphasized that it supports high productivity in all tasks, including multitasking, gaming, and creation. It also features low-noise operation of less than 25 dB during light tasks through Ambient Cooling technology.
According to Asus, the large 78Wh battery installed in the Zenbook S 16 OLED is enough for all-day work, gaming, and entertainment tasks such as creation. It supports fast charging and USB-C Easy Charge, and is compatible with various standard USB-C chargers.
The ergonomic touchpad, which is 40% larger than the previous model, provides a more comfortable user experience with a click depth of 0.23 mm. In particular, it supports smart gestures in the Windows operating system, allowing you to easily run frequently used applications as well as functions such as brightness, volume, and video playback with three or four finger shortcut keys.
Equipped with the latest AI-supported processor, the Zenbook S 16 OLED supports Windows Copilot. You can use functions such as ▲creating subtitles through Live Caption and ▲Windows Studio v2 such as eye alignment, portrait lighting, and creative filters. In addition, ASUS StoryCube provides functions such as automatic classification of photos and videos, search, video creation, and editing.
Additionally, the ZenBook S 16 OLED features six speakers certified by Harman Kardon, Wi-Fi 7 support, and the ASUS AiSense camera that provides quick facial login service.
It will be released in two colors, ‘Scandinavian White’ and ‘Jumaia Gray’, and the official consumer prices of the new products are 2,599,000 won and 2,399,000 won, respectively.
