ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCXR Launched in Turkey

ASUS announced that the ProArt Display OLED PA32UCXR model is on sale in Turkey. This 32” 4K monitor has mini LED backlighting with 2304 zones local dimming. This monitor part, which can offer a maximum brightness of 1600 nits, can provide continuous brightness of up to 1000 nits without section limitation. PA32UCXR also offers 99% Adobe RGB and 97% DCI-P3 color gamut. Designed for post-production workflows, each of these monitors is pre-calibrated at the factory to deliver Delta E < 1 color accuracy. The folding colorimeter with built-in motor provides convenience with Automatic Calibration and Self-Calibration features. The PA32UCXR model delivers professional-level colors by working with third-party software such as Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS, as well as ProArt Calibration software. Making workflows seamless and efficient with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and various connection options, this monitor offers the ideal solution for content creators.

To reduce costs, fewer integrated circuits are used in most locations where mini LED technology is used, preferring a centralized control system through data scanning in interconnected areas. Images must be brighter to achieve proper performance with this approach, which can lead to screen flicker, uneven brightness, and shorter LED life.

On the contrary, the ProArt Display PA32UCXR model adopts an approach with 2034 local dimming zones. This model uses a large number of integrated circuits to manage the backlight zones independently, minimizing screen flicker during transitions and offering high continuous brightness. In this way, PA32UCXR provides consistent brightness, dissipates heat efficiently and improves HDR image quality.

Thanks to the 1600 nits maximum brightness and industry-leading 1000 nits full-screen continuous brightness on the ProArt Display PA32UCXR model, excellent contrast is achieved between the deepest blacks and the brightest whites.

PA32UCXR offers 99% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709 and 87% Rec. It is an ideal model for post-production with its 2020 color gamut. The true 10-bit IPS panel, capable of rendering 1.07 billion colors, offers content creators a wide spectrum to work with.

Each ProArt monitor is pre-calibrated at the factory using a new three-scale method to deliver industry-leading color accuracy. This monitor is then subjected to rigorous testing using ASUS’ advanced grayscale tracking technology. In this way, much smoother color transitions, higher homogeneity and color difference at delta E (△E) < 1 level are achieved. Each grayscale level has been carefully measured and complies with the DICOM standard for medical use.

Convenient and smart calibration

ProArt Display PA32UCXR’s built-in motorized colorimeter folds and stows away during calibration for ease of use. The device also has an innovative feature that enables self-calibration. There is no need for extra calibration software for this feature, which is compatible with all operating systems. Users can start the calibration process at any time via the on-screen menu or schedule calibration outside working hours.

ASUS ProArt Calibration technology saves all color parameter profiles to the PA32UCXR’s internal scaling circuitry, not to the computer. Users can reprint the raster chart after calibrating the monitor. Thus, they can connect the monitor to devices with different operating systems or applications without resetting. PA32UCXR is supported by ProArt Color Center. In this way, remote control and calibration tools can be used that enable users to perform important tasks from a single point. Calibration programs and custom color parameters can remain consistent and professional-level precision can be achieved. With ProArt Calibration technology, calibration can also be planned at regular intervals. The built-in colorimeter can also be used with third-party Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware-based calibration software.

Create content with ultra-vivid HDR images

ProArt Display PA32UCXR supports multiple HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 with exclusive ASUS Smart HDR Technology. Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with unparalleled levels of brightness, contrast and color. With HLG, users can watch and produce content for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV and DirecTV. With HDR10 support, it is compatible with existing video streaming services and the increasing number of HDR-enabled games.

More convenient and efficient workflows

Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports ensure long-term compatibility for displays and peripherals. One of the Thunderbolt 4 ports can deliver up to 90 W of power and can thus be used to charge devices. Additionally, multiple displays can be connected in a daisy chain via this single port without the need for a dock or switch. The PA32UCXR also has a headphone jack and USB port.

PA32UCXR also supports Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP). Thanks to the Picture by Side feature, users can view content from four sources at the same time. The color mode of each window is also sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, Rec. 2020 can be configured as User Mode 1, User Mode 2 or User Mode 3. Picture-in-Picture mode displays content from a second source in a smaller window that can be placed in any corner of the screen.

The ambient light sensor on the PA32UCXR automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen. In addition, the proximity sensor, which detects whether there is a user in front of the monitor, can reduce the brightness of the screen depending on the situation.

The visor that comes with the product helps reduce reflections from surrounding lights, allowing users to work safely in the studio or on location.

PA32UCXR’s ergonomic stand offers tilting, swiveling, tilting and height adjustment options, allowing users to determine the ideal position for themselves. The screen can be rotated 90 degrees clockwise and counterclockwise. Thanks to this feature, working on posters, banners and other large format projects becomes more comfortable. It is also possible to save space on the desk by mounting the quickly removable monitor on the wall thanks to the VESA mounting bracket.

Free Adobe Creative Cloud subscription

Adobe products are at the core of creative work in many industries. By partnering with Adobe, ASUS supports creative workflows with its renowned Creative Cloud suite of applications and services. In select regions, purchasers of the ProArt Display PA32UCXR receive a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D, and Adobe Acrobat ($397.44 value). Creative Cloud subscription can be used with new or existing accounts. Subscription is started from the registration site. Membership initiation period ends on August 31, 2024.
