Asus released the new ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme AIO cooler

Asus’ novelty is equipped with Asetek’s latest generation Emma Gen8 V2 pump block and thicker than normal fans.

The IT giant Asus has released a new generation Republic of Gamers AIO cooler. The new ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme was already glimpsed in a video about io-tech’s Core Ultra 200S processors.

The heart of the Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme beats Asetek’s new Emma Gen8 V2 pump block equipped with a three-phase motor. The strategic dimensions of the pump block are 89 x 92 x 108 mm and its cold plate is naturally copper. The pump block is equipped with a 3.5″ 640×480 resolution LCD screen and a fan is also embedded in it to help cool the motherboard’s power supply.

As the wittiest nikkeknattertons could already read from the name, the AIO cooler is equipped with a 360 mm cooler, the exact dimensions of which are 399.5 x 120 x 30 mm. The aluminum radiator has 400 mm coated rubber hoses for the pump block. Mixing aluminum and copper in the same cycle easily leads to galvanic corrosion, but the problem is circumvented in AIO coolers with the coolant intended for that.

Air is blown through the cooler of the Ryujin III with Asus’ own ROG fans, which support magnetic chaining to minimize cable tangles. With their 30 mm thickness, the 120 mm fans are sturdier than normal. They are PWM controlled and operate at a speed of 0-2800 RPM (±10%). Fans are promised a maximum of 5.15 mmH2O static pressure and 89.73 CFM airflow. The maximum noise output is multiplied by 36 dB(A).

Asus has optimized the ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme especially for Intel’s new Core Ultra 2 series processors, and their new mounting mechanism makes it possible to align the cold plate even better to the hottest part of the processor. In addition to LGA 1851, they still naturally support Intel’s older LGA 115x, 1200 and 1700 and AMD’s AM4 and AM5 sockets.

Asus did not mention when and at what price the new ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme will go on sale, but it has been granted a rather nice six-year warranty.
