A young Corsican motorist only used his driving license for a few days after speeding in the rain.
In Corsea young driver aged 17 ans lost his driving license only a few days after obtaining it. He committed an unforgivable speeding offense which was immediately punished by local law enforcement.
A serious speeding violation which cost him his driving license after 9 days
On territorial route 11, Corsican gendarmes intercepted a 17-year-old young man. It was controlled at a speed of 178 km/h in an area limited to 100 km/h. Additionally, it was raining at the same time. This excessive speed was all the more surprising when the police discovered that the young motorist had only just obtained his driving license. In reality, he had only been licensed to drive nine days.
After this check, the gendarmes quickly confiscated the driving license of this young reckless driver. This is an obviously unavoidable sanction given his offense. In addition, his vehicle was sent to the pound the nearest one. Upon hearing the news, the young driver’s parents were stunned.
Despite everything, the consequences are not going to stop there. The young man will have to appear in court. Additional sanctions could be imposed, including surely one fine important, a suspension license and the loss of the six points of his probationary license.
