Alexis Mac Allister as is happy with the goal in the net of Real.
Liverpool took the lead at the start of the second half when Alexis Mac Allister got behind the opponent’s defense and opened the scoring with a shot against goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
The visitors could have equalized from the penalty kick, but home goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher caught the direction of Kylian Mbappe’s shot to the right post. However, even Liverpool did not convert the penalty, Mohamed Salah’s finish hit the left post.
However, “The Reds” were calmed down seven minutes later by Cody Gakpo with a goal to make it 2:0. The English team beat the Spanish club for the first time since 2009.
The PSV Eindhoven players took care of a rare turnaround, who were still losing 0:2 in the 87th minute, but with two goals from Malik Tillman they equalized to 2:2, and Ricardo Pepi completed the shock for Donetsk in the fifth minute of extra time with a goal to make it 3:2.
Benfica Lisbon players took care of AS Monaco’s first loss in the competition. They triumphed 3:2 on the opponent’s turf. A large advantage from the 58th minute helped them to victory.
Although Monaco outscored the opponent with a goal by Soungoutou Magassa to 2:1, the final ten minutes belonged to the guests.
Arthur Cabral tied the game at 2:2 in the 84th minute, and Zeki Amdouni completed Benfica’s turnaround four minutes later.
Football players Sturm Graz won over FC Girona 1:0 and thus gained the first three points in the table, in which they equaled Girona.
Both teams have one win and four losses after five duels. The triumph of the Austrian team was decided by Miku Biereth’s goal in the 59th minute.
The players of CZ Belgrade also enjoyed their first victory. On their home turf, they managed to beat Stuttgart convincingly 5:1. It was the second loss in a row for the German team, after which they have four points in the table.
In the match between Celtic Glasgow and FC Bruges, the guests led 1:0 after a curious own goal by Cameron Carter-Vickers, who had a misunderstanding with goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in the 26th minute.
He sent him a pass towards the goal at a time when Schmeichel was waiting for it to the side and did not have time to prevent the goal. The home team finally tied the game at 1:1 in the second half.
