Formula 1’s top designer Adrian Newey will join Aston Martin next year, according to team sources. The 65-year-old Briton has committed to the club long-term, with the deal said to be a five-year deal worth up to £30m a year, including bonuses.
The deal is expected to be announced at a press conference to be held by Aston Martin at the F1 team’s Silverstone facility next Tuesday. Newey negotiated an early release from his contract as Red Bull’s chief technical officer in April, and will start work in early March 2025.
