At least four people have been killed during an Israeli airstrike on a neighborhood in Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, which is near the city’s largest public hospital, Rafik Hariri.
This was stated by Lebanon’s Ministry of Health on Monday evening, according to the news agency Reuters.
In addition, 24 people are injured.
Israel has not commented on the report.
Lebanon’s state news agency (NNA) writes, according to AFP, that on Monday evening Israel attacked the neighborhood of Haret Hreik, which is near the Rafik Hariri hospital in Jnah.
In addition, Israel has attacked in the Ouzai district, it says.
“An Israeli air strike hit in Ouzai. It is the first time that the Ouzai district has been hit since Israel began attacking in Lebanon,” writes NNA.
The attacks were said to have occurred shortly after Israel’s military (IDF) asked residents of several Lebanese districts to evacuate the areas.
Israel says on Monday it has hit about 300 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon over the past 24 hours.
