A fire broke out in a bakery in the foothills of the city. On receiving the information, 5 units of fire service brought the fire under control.
The fire broke out at a bakery in Saraipara Talukdar Nagar on Friday (November 15) around midnight. An operator in charge of the control room of Fire Service Chittagong region confirmed this to the media.
He said that there was a fire in a bakery in Saraipara area around 1:10 PM. After that, a total of 5 units of fire service from Agrabad and Bandar stations were dispatched to control the fire.
The operator in charge of the control room said that it was possible to bring the fire under control in 5 units around 1:55 am. The fire service believed the fire from the bakery’s furnace had spread to 3 smaller rooms nearby. He said that no one was injured.
