At the SoMo Borac conference, learn how Microsoft, Bloomberg Adria and Hutter Consult AG are using AI in digital advertising

In two weeks on the premises student center in Zagreb the biggest European digital experts from the media and advertising industry will gather at the 12th edition of SoMo Borca. For the second year in a row, an all-day conference will be held, and three new lecturers have been announced to complement the series of interesting lectures. Sarunas Sakalauskas (Microsoft), Daniel Fazlić (Bloomberg Adria), Michaela Gahbauer i Esther Kokabi from the agency Hutter Consult AG will share their experiences with the use of artificial intelligence in their daily work.

Sarunas Sakalauskas is one of the leading experts in the field of digital advertising. It currently works as Partner Director of Microsoft Advertising within the Aleph group, and in his lecture „Generative AI Transforming Search and Advertising“ will talk about the key differences between predictive and generative AI, but also how Microsoft uses artificial intelligence to increase the effectiveness of campaigns.

In the media stream, one of the lecturers will be Daniel Fazlić, digital director of Bloomberg Adria who was brought to the media, and later to a leading position, by his love for analytics and data. By combining his knowledge of analytics and media, he managed to understand what the audience wants, but also to predict trends. At the SoMo Borac conference, the audience will be brought closer “From Paper to Algorithm: AI is Transforming Media – Will You Catch Up?” and why he considers artificial intelligence an opportunity and not a threat for the future of journalism. With trend analysis, AI enables journalists to identify trends and topics that audiences want, while optimizing time.

Michaela Gahbauer i Esther Kokabi they come from the Swiss marketing agency Hutter Consult AG, specialized in digital advertising. Michaela is the head of the advertising department, and Esther is a digital marketing consultant. Both emphasize that in their daily work they like to experiment with the tools provided by artificial intelligence, and they will refer to this in their lecture. “AI-Driven Creativity: Crafting Campaigns with Voices, Visuals, and Automation” is the name of their lecture, in which they will talk about how to use AI to strengthen creativity and set new criteria for digital campaigns.
