At the theater festival in Samara they showed “Foma Opiskin” and “Resurrection”

As part of the festival, a performance by the Saratov Academic Theater for Young Spectators named after Yu.P. was shown on the stage of the Chamber Stage Theater. Kiselev “Foma Opiskin”. This is a chance to get to know Dostoevsky’s work from an unexpected side and discover the writer’s comic gift.

Saratov Youth Theater – the country’s first theater for children, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018. This is one of the best theaters in Russia, winner of numerous awards in the field of theatrical art, has repeatedly become a participant in international festivals and has toured abroad in Poland, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France, Belarus, the USA, Japan and other countries.

In addition, during the festival days, the SamArt theater performance “Resurrection” based on the work of L.N. Tolstoy’s “Resurrection”. In “Resurrection,” director Denis Khusniyarov is interested in a man who has lived his life and is almost at the end of his path. Can a sinner take the right path? Who has the right to judge and punish? These questions are posed by the authors of the play.

“SamArt”, formerly the Samara Theater for Young Spectators, was born in 1930. The team is a repeated winner of various theater competitions and a participant in the most prestigious all-Russian and international festivals. During its operation, more than 9 million spectators of different generations attended the theater’s performances.
