Atari Gamestation Go Will Be Introduced at CES 2025

A short promotional video stating that the Atari Gamestation Go portable handheld console will be officially introduced at the CES 2025 event to be held next week. It was published. Details about the technical specifications, pricing, availability or functionality of the device are still unclear.

The GameStation Go has some interesting controllers, including the analog stick, D-Pad, four action buttons and four shoulder buttons common on modern handheld devices, and the trackball and numpad that are absent.

Of course, many classic Atari games were designed for much more basic controllers. So it’s interesting that the X, Y, A and B buttons appear to be backlit. Rumor has it that only the buttons you need for a particular game will light up when gaming, but the sheer number of different controls suggests you might not be limited to just playing classic Atari games.

It also appears from the GameStation Go preview video that the handheld will feature an array of ports that include a headphone jack, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader, along with two USB-C ports that can be used to connect two additional wired controllers for multiplayer gaming.

We will share all the details with you after the presentation next week.
