ATP Trucks Automobile, the Romanian manufacturer of commercial and passenger vehicles, is launching the new Truston 8×4 model at its first participation at the prestigious IAA Transportation 2024 fair in Hannover, dedicated to mobility solutions and commercial vehicles. The first production tranche of the new model is 20 units, almost entirely already contracted.
Five years after the launch of its first product – the Truston 8×4 430 HP truck – ATP Trucks is exhibiting at IAA Transportation 2024 its current and varied range of vehicles and transport solutions. For the first time, the new model of Truston 8×4 trucks and tippers is presented, as well as the newest product in the company’s portfolio – the 3-axle tipper semi-trailer, produced in Baia Mare under the Stamer brand.

The new cabin of the Truston 8×4 trucks and tippers impresses with a completely redefined, modern and functional design. Improvements include:
- 16+2-speed AMT automatic transmission that optimizes gear changes for increased fuel efficiency and improved operating comfort.
- Ground clearance increased to 530 mm, ideal for difficult terrain and damage prevention in demanding environments.
- Video assistance with 360° camera, which increases the safety and maneuverability of the vehicle, giving drivers full visibility.
The novelties brought to the Truston 8×4 contribute to optimizing the working conditions for drivers and increasing safety and operational efficiency. The 2024 model continues to emphasize driver comfort, with the new cabin offering a spacious and ergonomic interior, with controls intuitively placed on the steering wheel and center console, power windows and a pneumatic seat for optimal comfort.
What does the new Truston bring?
Also as new elements, the manufacturer has now defined several options in its offer of superstructures: tipping buckets in configurations of 18 / 20 / 22 mᴈ, mixers in configurations of 8 / 10 / 12 mᴈ, the concrete pump that can be 30 / 38 / 52 / 58 / 62 / 70 m, the configured crane of 14.5, 16.8 and 20.4 m. The SAF 3-axle tipper semi-trailer can be produced in 3 volume variants: 25 / 28 / 32 mᴈ and soon will the semi-trailer for transporting grain is also available.
IAA Transportation 2024 runs from September 17-22 in Germany, and the ATP Trucks team will be present throughout the event at stand N73 to interact with visitors and present their solutions developed over five years of activity: the Truston 430 truck HP 8×4, Truston 430 HP 8×4 dump truck, Truston 550 HP 4×2 tractor head – all equipped with Stamer superstructures produced in Baia Mare: tipper 20 mᴈ, mixer 12 mᴈ but also tipper semi-trailer 25 mᴈ with 3 SAF axles .
