Attacked and killed by the ram that entered the garden in Frosinone, the 77-year-old died from the headbutts she suffered

Killed by being butted by a ram who entered the courtyard of his house. A 77-year-old woman died in Frosinone following what appears to be nothing more than a tragic fatality, surprised by the animal while she was engaged in some gardening activities.

The story in Frosinone

The episode occurred in a countryside area on the outskirts of Frosinone, on the victim’s property in via Selva Casilina. The woman was carrying out some maintenance work in the garden of her house when the ram sneaked into her home, under circumstances still to be clarified, and loaded.

The 77-year-old would have been hit from behind by the ram’s horns: the blows would have caused serious injuries to the victim’s back, leaving her with no escape.

The attack of the ram

The intervention on site by the Arer 118 medical staff was useless: despite repeated attempts to resuscitate her, the woman died instantly and the doctors were unable to do anything but confirm her death.

After the attack the animal is ran awaylosing its traces in the surrounding countryside. The Frosinone Carabinieri are dealing with the case and are trying to locate the ram and to reconstruct the circumstances that led to the event.

The magistrate on duty at the Frosinone Prosecutor’s Office granted permission for the funeral, authorizing the return of the body to the family.

The previous one

A similar episode occurred last May again in the Frusinate countryside, in Amaseno, where an elderly farmer died after being gored by a hoax.

The woman had been admitted to the San Camillo hospital in Rome for the serious injuries suffered to her neck and abdomen caused by one of her animals, which he was arranging in the enclosure, when suddenly she was attacked.
