An amendment has been made to the Regulation on the Determination and Implementation of Tolls on Highways Under the Responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways and on Highways Where Access Control is Applied. Those who pass illegally and do not pay the fee within 15 days will be subject to an administrative fine of one fold of the toll and no notification will be made.
The development, which concerns all vehicle owners in Turkey, was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. According to the Regulation on the Determination and Implementation of Tolls on Highways Under the Responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways and on Highways Where Access Control is Applied, no administrative fines will be collected from those who pass through toll booths illegally and make the payment in accordance with the procedure within 15 days.
THE FEE PER KILOMETER HAS INCREASED IN THE CALCULATION
The “One km highway unit price” in the formula for calculating tolls has been increased from 0.25 lira to 1 lira.
