Audi introduces crossovers to its sedan range A3 allstreet a new version ibrida plug-inthe 40 TFSI ecapable of combining high performance and sustainable driving. This variant, which joins the diesel and 150 HP petrol mild hybrid versions already on the list, represents an interesting option for those looking for a versatile vehicle with a strong ecological footprint. The arrival in dealerships is scheduled for the beginning of 2025, with a base price of around 50,000 euros.
The Audi a3 allstreet plug-in hybrid powertrain
The A3 allstreet 40 TFSI e is equipped with a 1.5 liter internal combustion enginefour cylinders, capable of delivering 150 CV and 250 Nm of torque. This is accompanied by a 116 HP and 330 Nm electric motorfor a total power of 204 CV and 350 Nm of torque. The car is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 225 km/h.
The most interesting aspect of this plug-in hybrid is the autonomy in exclusively electric mode, which reaches 130 km according to the WLTP cycle, thanks to the new 25.7 kWh battery. This allows the A3 allstreet to cover the majority of urban and suburban routes without consuming fuel, making it particularly efficient for those with a predominantly urban lifestyle.
In terms of charging, the A3 allstreet 40 TFSI e offers flexibility: it supports fast charging in direct current up to 50 kWallowing you to go from 10 to 80% in less than half an hour. Alternatively, it can be recharged with alternating current up to 11 kW.
Compared to the sedan, the A3 allstreet stands out the structure raised by 30 mm and robust aesthetic details, such as side skirts and wheel arches in black plasticwhich give it a crossover look. The battery, located under the floor in the rear area, required a specific adaptation of the suspension to guarantee a balanced and comfortable setup.
The new Audi A3 allstreet 40 TFSI will be available in Italian dealerships in first quarter of 2025bringing an alternative and sustainable choice to the A3 range for fans of the Ingolstadt brand.
