Audi does not intend to stop there and plans further significant changes for the brand. The German manufacturer is reorganizing its nomenclature. Until today, the numbers attributed to the models had no connection with their motorization. This will now change with this new organization.

Cars thermal will use numbers impairswhile the numbers pairs will be awarded to the electric vehicles. For example, the A4 with its diesel and petrol engines becomes the A5. The same goes for the A6 which will become the A7. With this in mind, Audi is expected to launch a fully electric A6 and a smaller A4 with an electric motor. These projects are expected to be completed avant 2030.
